All-Day Yoga Retreat
Limited Capacity seats available

Over the course of the day, we'll start by slowly opening you up. Then we will heat you up with asana, and finally cool you down with restoratives, pranayama, and meditation, leaving you wrung out, happy, and relaxed as if you had been on a weeklong retreat. Through our practice, we'll enhance the natural rhythms of our bodies while learning how to listen to our bodies and release tension and restlessness so that we can be present for our lives with vigor and relaxation.

Ayurveda 101 for Yogis: Ayurvedic Theory, Self-Care Tools, and Vata-Balancing Yoga
Limited Capacity seats available

Ayurveda 101 for Yogis: Ayurvedic Theory, Self-Care Tools, and Vata-Balancing Yoga
The secret to enriching your day with more energy, clarity, and motivation is Ayurveda, the 5,000-year-old Indian system of healing and sister science to yoga. Experience these time-tested tools in a daylong Ayurvedic retreat with  Larissa Hall Carlson, faculty of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda and yoga teacher.
In the morning, you’ll identify your unique dosha, or mind-body constitution, which determines the daily routines and foods that will best support digestion and turn stress into joy. In the afternoon, you’ll dive into a juicy Ayurvedic yoga journey to relax the body, soothe nerves, and restore tranquility to the mind. Harmonize vata dosha in time for Autumn with a full-body asana sequence, pranayama, and mindfulness meditation. Then you’ll try Abhyanga (self-massage) techniques to melt tension, and finish the day with a restorative yoga nidra to boost immunity.

Infinite Practices, Few Basic Principles: How Seasoned Teachers Build Meaningful Yoga Classes That Hook Their Students
Limited Capacity seats available

With so much information available to teachers, it can seem overwhelming to create meaningful classes that feel like your own. You don’t have to rely solely on the formulas you learned in teacher training to get out of that teaching rut. Join The Art of Teaching Yoga mentors, Alexandria Crow, Coral Brown, and Giselle Mari, for a full-day workshop for teachers that will demystify the process of creating classes that are effective and inspiring for you and your students.

By leading three 30-minute practices leading to one pose, Alex, Coral, and Giselle will show you that their different teaching styles have similar and basic common principles. Through in-depth group discussions and workshopping your questions throughout the day, you’ll discover how to apply these principles to design solid sequences, understand how to offer verbal cues and hands-on assists, handle injury prevention and management, and integrate philosophy more fully. Don’t miss this opportunity to simplify and unpack the process of developing your unique teaching style and creating balanced classes that keep students coming back to learn more.

Yoga for the Long Haul
Limited Capacity seats available

Do you want to be able to make yourself a smoothie without depending on someone else when you’re 90 years old? Do you want to be free in your body now and well into your older years? Would you like to be that old lady or old man with the twinkle in their eye when you reach old age? This is a chance to start a rich, energizing, and therapeutic practice that is sustainable and will last a lifetime. This is an opportunity to let your asana ambitions go for just one day and get to the heart of the yoga matter! A good yoga practice should support you in loving your life and it should help you move better vs. pose better. This intensive will take you on a journey through essential movement and flow while still gaining mobility and strength in the larger muscle groups. In addition to learning how to keep yourself intrinsically strong and safe, you will discover Amy’s secrets to building a yoga practice and lifestyle that lasts; including how to work with injuries, asymmetries in the body, and how to handle life setbacks & curveballs with grace. Both young and old are welcome - in fact this is an opportunity for all ages to come together on the mat to learn from each other about the thing we are all experiencing right now: LIFE! You will stretch, sweat, laugh, dance, deeply relax, restore, and much, much more. Join us!
