Tame Your Pitta: Yoga and Ayurveda to Keep You Cool LIMITED

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Warmer climates—such as Florida’s—are conducive to pitta, offering a steady stream of sunshine and warmth. However, the constant heat can also deliver itchy skin, inflammation, and mental irritation. Ayurveda to the rescue! This workshop is an engaging mix of asana, pranayama, meditation, and lecture designed to calm the mind, ease digestion, and sooth an overheated nervous system. As a special treat, you finish off with a cooling coconut oil foot massage to wring out excess pitta. You’ll walk out this class with tips on how to and stay light, grounded, and refreshed in the Sunshine State.

Note: Includes asana, pranayama, and meditation. Please wear clothes that expose lower legs and feet for oil self-massage.

**This class has been approved by American Council on Exercise (ACE) for 0.2 CECs.**
