Do you want to be able to make yourself a smoothie without depending on someone else when you’re 90 years old? Do you want to be free in your body now and well into your older years? Would you like to be that old lady or old man with the twinkle in their eye when you reach old age? This is a chance to start a rich, energizing, and therapeutic practice that is sustainable and will last a lifetime. This is an opportunity to let your asana ambitions go for just one day and get to the heart of the yoga matter! A good yoga practice should support you in loving your life and it should help you move better vs. pose better. To move with ease and develop true core strength for a lifetime sustainable practice, it’s critical to initiate movement from your deep, intrinsic muscles vs. only recruiting your main movers like the quads, glutes, and pecs. This intensive will take you on a journey through essential movement and flow while still gaining mobility and strength in the larger muscle groups. In addition to learning how to keep yourself intrinsically strong and safe, you will discover Amy’s secrets to building a yoga practice and lifestyle that lasts; including how to work with injuries, asymmetries in the body, and how to handle life setbacks & curveballs with grace. Both young and old are welcome - in fact this is an opportunity for all ages to come together on the mat to learn from each other about the thing we are all experiencing right now: LIFE! You will stretch, sweat, laugh, dance, deeply relax, restore, and much, much more. Join us!
